So they are illegal? If so adult dep route won't work and to be honest, if they are legal it won't work either. Thanks for that. I suppose they can be classed as that. Although they never got their passports sent back all these years and they have continued re applying, or appealed each time it was...

Thank you! That's very helpful. I will have to find out from the embassy the last guy was very unhelpful and not very friendly. Looks like travel will have to be put on hold!

Just another quick question. Weather to apply as joint(him being my dependant) when applying for extension under Tier 1. Or send my application first and then apply for his if I am successful? I tried to find information on the homeoffice website, but unfortunately just as confused.
