EEA4 Approval Turnaround

Hi all I applied for PR status beginning of September, and my documents were returned as they needed more information to cover 1 year. I returned the information, and got a COA late October. Today I have received my Permanent Resident Card. Also, a relative of mine coincidentally applied for permane...

Don't you have a valid residence permit? In that case you wouldn't need a family permit. If you really need to apply for the family permit just answer "permanently" to the first question and "N/A" to the second. Write a cover letter explaining your situation. My residence permit...

Re: New EEA FP application forms

I wonder, were a family member to REFUSE to give fingerprints and to furnish any other documents other than marriage certificate and passports, what would happen? Would the permit be refused? How would they justify it? So, is this the legal minimum you can furnish and not have the FP refused? I nee...

Thanks for the feedback everyone. How does this piece of legislation affect me, if at all ? (I am concerned that I dont get the family permit before I need to return to the UK, or if they somehow refuse to issue it). What are my chances of travelling without the family permit? (South Africans with p...

Do you have a valid residence card sticker in your passport? If not you will need to apply for an EEA family permit before you return as South Africans are now visa nationals. Hi there I have a family permit stamp (not sticker) in my expired passport - but this is valid only until end of Jan 09. Lo...

Confused- EEA4, FCO says I need visa 4 return travel

Hi all I recently submitted an EEA4, and called to request our passports back (we need to travel to South Africa). I was told to speak to the British High Commission in South Africa to check what documents are required when I return to the UK. The have now emailed to say I have to apply for a Family...

I have made various European applications in the past, and never sent passports with the initial application to Croydon. By the time the application is finally processed they will ask for missing documents. Usually they ask for many more documents as well (including ones that are actually not requi...

Hi all Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I am on a spouse visa (to live and work in the UK) which runs out at the end of January 09. My spouse is an EEA National and I am a Non-EEA National. Apperently I can only make my application 28 days before the visa expires. However, I need to travel f...
