Re: Wiki: How to create a pdf file to upload for OCI applica

If anyone wants to combine multiple images into one PDF, you can use a PDF Editor like Foxit Phantom PDF or Nitro Pro. Here's a GIF example of combining a specimen UK passport with a specimen naturalisation certificate using Phantom PDF . Foxit Phantom PDF is what I use, it has a 30 day free trial a...

Re: A few queries regarding OCI Application

https://online2pdf.com/convert-images-to-pdf is a free site and can also convert multiple images into one PDF. However you should be aware of the risks of uploading scans of your sensitive documents (like naturalisation certificate and passport) to a site run by people you do not know.

Re: Indian Passport for Child born in India

Just a few days ago the Delhi High Court reiterated that mother's name is sufficient for a passport although that's probably not relevant for you as you'd like your name to be there on your child's passport. Still as a contingency it's good to know this. Anyway - my old Indian passport did not have ...

Re: Onward journey with Indian PP, Return with British PP

I have done this and the Border Agency are ok with it as long as you have your ILR card.
I just realised, this was before the new Home Office rule and you have to return the BRP now. So travelling with ILR card is not ok anymore.

Re: Onward journey with Indian PP, Return with British PP

Here are my 2 questions: 1) When I leave India, would Indian border officials ask for my Indian passport and put leaving stamp on it or do they put leaving stamp on my British passport ? (note: my entry stamp on arriving to India would be on Indian PP) 2) When I leave India, if they put return stam...
