Hi, I got my TIER 1 VISA stamped on 4TH Feb 09, and i am planning to travel in the first week of June.... Is there any rule, such that one needs to make his first travel to UK within a particular time period from the stamping date? And what are the implications of travelling as late as 4 months from...

Tricky part...

HI, I thought the following points were not straight forward.. 1). For 2 months, the amount in salary slips, and the salary credited in bank statements did not match and differed by as much as Rs.30,000 each time. I mentioned this in cover letter but i had seen cases in past couple of months where t...

Verification by BHC?

Hi, I seriously believe that ever since Integra screening was done away with, the BHC verifies cases on a random basis. I feel they pick certain applications on a random selection and get them verified. My application was processed in 56 days, and many a times when i had called BHC, they told me tha...

Difference in status at VFS and Delhi BHC.

HI, I applied on 10th december 2008. Today when i called Delhi BHC for an update, they told me that i can collect my passport from VFS in the evening between 6 and 7(though i opted for courier delivery). But VFS people say that they have not recieved my passport as yet and since i had opted for cour...

Re: prev earnngs

Hi,

1). Generally, offer letter is not a proof of employment. If you want to submit the proof of employment, then submit the proof from your current emoployer.

2). No problem if 11 months salary is enough for scoring points. Go ahead with evidence for 11 months salary period only.

Re: College Name

Hi,

This does not seem to be much of a problem, provided that you should clearly mention it in the cover letter, and make this highly visible so that it is not missed.

Re:salary slip

HI, Its clearly stated in the guidelines that the payslip should be either the formal payslip, otherwise the online format needs to be signed and stamped. I dont think you should take any chance and go ahead with an un-signed/stamped payslip. Just try to tell your HR department that you really need ...

Hi

Hi..

1). Maintenance Funds proof, Marriage Certificate, Her Passport, VAF10, Her current financial and employment details.(If any)

2). She has to submit herself since she will have to give the biometric details as well.

3). No. A student VISA is needed for that.

Study..

Hi,

She cannot study in UK on a TIER 1 dependent VISA. She will need a student VISA for that. But she can work. Anyone can work on a TIER 1 dependent VISA.
So now the question of giving IELTS or not does not make sense. But in any other case, 'General Training' exam has to be given for VISA purpose.

Hi,

Check your passport pages. A rejection reference number will be printed on one of the pages of your passport. You will have to mention this. It might be written in ink.

Timeline in Delhi VFS

HI,

I suggest you guys to tread with caution as currently the Delhi BHC is fighting a heavy backlog. Most of the normal TIER1 applications are being processed in 50-60 days. Its difficult to say what might be the trend in March.
My own TIER 1 application today is 50 days old. Still pending.

Re: Passport

Normally the VFS takes time to update their system. But if the BHC has told you that teh passport will be dispatched, then just wait for it. Otherwise call back.
