Can't belive it guys... we received a package from UKBA this morning containing all the original supporting documents we sent as well as my passport and hubby's passport with ILR stamp issued on 1st Feb!!! :D :D :D I am totally amazed and very relieved at how quickly they dealt with his application ...

For those still waiting like me...looks like UKBA is taking 2-3 months to grant ILR these days.

I know someone who applied under Set M category (postal application) in August, and got their ILR in November... so I'm guessing we will have to wait for a similar le...

Hi all My hubby applied for his ILR (set m) on 5th January by post (special delivery). UKBA received his application on 6th January, and payment was also taken on the same day. yep it reads da same... word 4 word... my hubi sed he wud ring them today cuz apparently they did contact him on his mobile in da morning but he cudnt hear da guy properly cuz of network probs... he did initially say he wud go down tomorrow and chance it, but i told him they wud probably just refuse...
