BUT who told u that India does not allow dual citizenship both Ireland and India allow dual citizenship, and ur passport acnt be cancelled like that untill u inform them, you should try to gather more information, i dont think u r right. Manmohan Singh passed this law regarding dual citizenship

delay in process

this delay in the process might be recession thats wat i think we never know wats going inside jst be patient coz these people if we ring more and more and they reply the same stuff all the times they will be irritated and make more delay and we cant do anything better dont ring them atall on helpli...

naturalisation approval

Hi Folks
I knew one of my friend she applied naturalisation in june 2007, no other documents were asked or any other kind of problems, she never ring to the department and she got the approval on the 19th jan 2009.
