No they so not charge for it.Its free of cost :D Only problem is that they might waste an hour of yours. Now the question for push_hsmp Whats next after arriving in UK apart from opening an account/getting a SIM card Any registration needs to be done with any authorities etc. ? Please advise thanks

i'm talking abt Bank letter stating your account details and funds maintained and rate of conversion applied and clearly stating that enclosed e-statements are signed/stamped by the bank official and with bank official's contact info.


it just adds credibility to your application.

just to be safe apply in april showing 3 month period from 1st jan to 31st march even though CaseWorkers are usually not on a lookout for such things but why take chances. Hi All i applied from Delhi VFS for Tier1 on 12th Jan and got VISA yesterday i.e. 17/02/2009 and the visa is dated 16/02/09 to 16/02/12 but i mentioned the travel/start date as 1st april 2009 i'm in a dilemma now as i have a notice period of 1 month at my current employer. same is the case with my application.

but if you send SMS by writing "Visa UK" to 57333

they will give the date it was processed and delivered to blue dart

i'm now nervous as to whether i got the visa or not

Dublin is in Ireland so you need to have their work visa to work there.

but i believe you can work in North Ireland part and Scotland which still comes under UK.

Someone please confirm.

please write a letter to BHC citing your reasons for urgent treatment and why you want your passport back

and write clearly that its been so much time and i'm not able to get any valid status from the numbers provided.

i'm sure they will treat your application very urgent

the reality is that if you have a valid indian license,you can get a valid UK license after giving it to them(authorities)

and its better than applying afresh when u get there

the last person i know of who got approval from Delhi BHC applied on 18th dec and got approval on 3rd feb.

so this makes me think that they should be entering the Jan applied visas now or in a day or two.

what say guys ?
