She is not from France, she is Canadian. The reason for going to France is because it's much closer and cheaper than going to Canada and then returning in two weeks. I thought she could go to France for a week or two and then return to the UK as a tourist to finish her matters there.

Any ideas?

Leaving Before IGS expiry and returning to UK -URGENT!!!

My friend has decided not to apply from IGS to PSW as she believes it would be better to go home for a year+ and then apply under Tier One General. Question----she is from a country that does not require a visa to enter the UK. Her IGS visa is "valid until" January 15th and she still has p...

As my VISA expires on Feb 24th and if I guess I have to send my application some days earlier. I believe you can apply up to the date your visa expires so if your visa is good thru' February 24th, you can apply on February 24th either in person (with an appointment) or by post, so long as the postin...

push_hsmp, Thanks for posting. So, if funds hit her account on October 16th and visa valid until January 15th, she will just have complied with the 3 month requirement provided she posts the application on January 15th? I'm thinking, Oct 16th-Nov 15th, Nov 16th-Dec 15th, Dec 16th-Jan 15th? Correct?

3 months/90 days?

Just posted long post about my friend possibly being off by one day from 3 month period maintenance period. Visa valid until January 15th, funds posted to account October 16th. After posting first post and thinking my friend was short one day, now I'm hoping that she just may have made it as I count...

Maintenance Funds off by one day? - URGENT!

Friend is applying for extension of post study worker from inside the UK (IGS to PSW). Current visa is "valid until" January 15th. Her account never dropped under £800 as of October 16th. The £800+ funds are being held in UK account with NatWest. Questions: 1. Can friend apply on January...
