When HO granted your application finally in 2009 on a review of the decision that was based on your application submitted in 2007, then that effectively means that they accepted that your initial application was correct, and they should have granted you ILR in 2007. Keeping this in mind, I don't thi...

I have already told you what the position is. I personally wont rely on information given by UKBA call centre operators at all. If she could get spouse visa, then why would they refuse it in first place, then grant a DL and then say she can apply for spouse visa.

Re: help with MN1 - few questions

All the answers to your queries are clearly mentioned in the guidance, if you click on it on UKBA website. 1. There is no question for Passport number of the child? Is it ok to send the form with mentioned passport number? Whats the point in providing something which UKBA doesn't ask you to provide...

She can't apply for flr(m) from within UK. If you have all the documents required, then she will be able to obtain spouse visa from her home country. In case her spouse visa is refused, her DL will still remain valid.

As per Indian law, you now have lost Indian citizenship, and hence your passport has become invalid. You should now obtain British passport and then surrender your Indian passport to HCI london. Govt of India wont know that you have got British citizenship until you tell them. So basically you can t...

Hi, Sorry, I think I couldn't put my point across properly. Based on the guidance which I have copied and posted link in my previous post, it clear as daylight that if you do what you mentioned, then you will have no chance of getting an ILR. I don't think you will be taking a risk, you will be wipi...

Wow, thats a lot of money to submitt a nationality application. I would say 1000 pounds is a pure rip off. This is the easiset and simplest application that can be made to UKBA.

Then the whole argument could fall on what is actually "official". Please also keep in mind that information from UKBA enquiries line can't be used as an argument at the time of ILR.
