My questions are: 1. Does she need a visa at all? (I'm pretty sure she does for reasons of practicality if not legality.) You have got this right. 2. If she does, can she apply as a Family member? She applies as spouse of an eu citizen. 2. Does she need an appointment? Check with the greek embassy. ...

Yes, US visa in her passport with your name can sure serve as a proof. Also remember that its not only the documents that you have in joint names that you can use, but also the documents in your own separate names but coming to the same address are also proofs of living together.

This has been discussed many times on this forum. To cut the long story short, airline won't let a passenger board the aircraft until they see a valid visa sticker. Airlines are not interested in interpreting or understanding eu directives, they just want hard proof that passenger has permission to ...

After we get married we are going to visit the UK and a week in Tenerife as part of this trip. My question was, can we get an EEA family permit to enter Spain for this holiday? Is it f...

EEA visa or not, it will be based on your unmarried relationship that has lasted for 2 years or more. You have two options 1. You are a British citizen, so you can sponsor your partner under UK rules. Check out the website of British embassy in Greece and look for spouse visa. Rules for spouse visa ...

UKBA keeping the Life in the UK test cert can be a good pointer that ILR has been granted. Best to wait for a few days and wait for the actual decision to come round. No point winding yourself up by pondering over something that has already been decided.

She already provided those when she applied for PR, so she doesnt need to send them again. There are no complications in her case. She just asked a simple question and I think forum members are just turning this into a unnecessary debate and making irrelevant comments.

"it seems" how do you mean by that? can you not make sure what the position is about this important matter. I dont believe that your mother wont remember where you were adopted. You travelled on her passport, thats a pointer that you already are a British citizen.

If you employer has an sponsor's license and your job falls into shortage list then you can get a tier 2 visa to work in UK. I am not sure whether you have to apply outside the UK or you can switch while you are here.

If you born in Canada, then you must have the citizenship of Canada, even though several years have passed away. Simultaneously, if your parents are British and and your are living since long in UK, then you should also get the UK citizenship. Now, what you need to do is to make all your proofs doc...

Yes, you will need hard proof in shape of original documents to prove your claim that you have been living together for 4 years or more as husband and wife. Emailed documents, though can be of some use when submitted with other original documents, but on their own they are no good for an ECO. I hope...
