UKBA will still find out even if the conviction does not appear on CRB. The type of convictions you have mentioned do not get entered on PNC as they are not recordable offences. UKBA finds out about all the convctions from HMCS (court service) even when they do not appear on CRB check.

Defaults are something that are between you and the company concerned. Defaults are not court orders. No need to worry. Just apply in the usual manner.

If HO have made available new forms then the new form must be used, regardless of what changes, minor or major or none have been made in the form. Using the wrong form=invalid application.

Technically speaking you need to wait 5 years from the date of conviction for your sentence (fine) to be spent. But that doesn't mean that your application is bound to fail. In the end its at the discretion of UKBA (caseworker). You will have to explain the circumstances regarding your conviction in...

There is a horde of people who were granted under legacy and then applied for naturalisation. So if you apply an year after your ILR, you will be regarded as meeting residence requirement, and assuming you qualify in all other respects, you will be granted naturalisation.

OK, its a conviction then. You have done the right thing by declaring it. Hopefully it won't cause any problems with your application. Do let us know the outcome.

Good luck.

I think you are getting the wrong idea by the words "been to court". It doesn't matter if you go to court physically, or enter a plea by post. If the case was decided by a court, then it is a conviction and attracts 5 years rehabilitation period.

Hi I will be finishing 12 months on ILR in February 2009 and would therefore otherwise become eligible to apply for the British citizenship. I have however got couple of questions 1. You only need to declare UNSPENT convictions. You had a conviction in July 2005, it got spent in July 2010, so there was no need to mention it in your application. You have done the right thing. No need to panic. Just forget about it.

Going to court just doesnt mean going to court in person. Someone can put in a plea by post and appear in court by post. The thing which should be kept in mind is that whether the person got convicted in a court or was it just a fixed penalty issued by police. If he got convicted in court, then he c...

You will have to apply for indefinite leave to remain in Oct 2013, under protection route. As soon as you have received ILR, you can apply for BC. (presuming that your husband has BC on that date, and you are marriage is recognised under UK law)

Relax. There is no need to panic. Submit as many photocopies etc you have as proof of your entry. Any letters from UKBA are also good. Write a good covering letter as to why you can't provide original passport etc. And do not worry, UKBA will have all the info they need for naturalisation on their c...

I totally agree with senthil78. A parking ticket is a "penalty charge notice" issued by local council, usually for parking contraventions, driving in bus lanes etc. "Fixed penalty notice" is issued by police for traffic offences.
