well shes from philippines and shes working as nurse,lots of them in tallaght hospital seemed to already got their naturalization(mostly filipino nurses) who applied 2007 after coming to ireland 2001.saying that i think they all give citizenship to everyone but whos handling your application is what...

My housemate got her letter of approval yesterday monday the 8th of march.she applied in 2007 not single call she made to INIS and there was no other letters or docs requested from her!!!

to nehro are you not supposed to be living in eire for at least year after acquiring citizenship??coz this is the reason why im holdin on to this high collectin tax country before working somewhere.

come to think of it if there are roughly 167,00 applicants for naturalisation(correct me if im wrong) if they just approve them all that would be great for economy whooping 950 euros each applicant....whatta load of money for the economy :twisted:

thats very expensive fees.i appplied mine in feb 14,2007 got my aprroval nov went to court dec 10 and got my passport jan 09.thank you to my solicitor who only charge me 20 euros for his signature and advice. :lol:

feb 14 2007 i applied for both citizenship and residency.got approval for naturalisation nov 08.went for oath taking dec 10.so i guess its just pure luck and something i didnt expect to be soon.hopefully you guys will all get yours very very soon.. :D
