Yep As Irish Nationals now we cant get Visa. But same time countries where Dual citizenship doesnt exist (non-eea countries), Immigration officer on the other end might look for Visa. Yep,
Simple signature thats all. Name and Address i filled in. Judge just did his initials and assistant to judge just stamped it (This was local district court)

Yep,
As mentioned by southern_sky you dont have to send passport (if you are not a refugee/asylum seeker)

Hi All,
What are the steps/documents required for applying Irish Passport, after naturalization ?

Do i need to attach photo copy or send original naturalisation certificate with my passport application ?

Is there anything else required?

True things are pretty bad.. But the story is , moving isnt that simple either specially if you have family and mortgage ('s) and so forth.
It is bad situation and times are not right to sell and all.

Yep,
Obie is right in that sense.
Other option may be studies. She can join a language course or some accounting course. I know sounds strange. But plenty adults apply for the same. And intake to language courses is all year round.Atleast it will give her time, to think about options.

There is no Harm in having tourist Visa ready(if you need one) for interviews and all at same time you can check the place out. Ryanair, Aerlingus and aerann are few airlines which do cheap flights to dublin and other places in ireland

Hi MaverickI, I believe ICT you are reffering to was ICT work Visa (ICT -> Information and Communications Technology). Hi LP,
Go in advance :P .. Atleast 30 minutes before. I dont know how it works in Dublin. I live in country side and had to go to county district court. And all proceedings (naturalisation, other cases, etc....) go in same queue. Since i went bit early, i was First in First out :)

Hi there, You might not be able to renew the same visa as you are outside country. Still check with your local Irish embassy. Go for it.. Book the court appointment. Its a simple process now onwards. Just dont sign the yellow form.

Yep LTR is a long process. Sometimes almost take same time as naturalisation(could be anything from 10-12 months to 2 years). And Dont Sign the yellow decleration form. You can fill in your details Name and address But dont sign, as you gota sign infront of judge.

Hi Jhbmike,
I showed me current passport (NON-EU passport) as proof of ID that was it and the declaration Form.

They didn't ask for any proof of address or anything on those lines.

Hi All,
Do check other courts outside dublin also. Some in far west do take ppl from dublin or other counties.
And as for what they check, there was no proof of address asked in court only proof of identity and i showed me passport as that.
