I wrote to the HO about my case being very delayed. Just received a letter saying that there are 'extended checks' going on.
Has anybody else had this one?

I emailed CHC london a month ago and they did get back in a couple of days time which was surpirsing. Maybe you can try doing that.

I submitted a simplified application back in 06 and took an IELTS for calculating the points (cant remember whether i had to attach a copy as well or not). I do understand that us Planners and Planning engineers are a rare breed but still find it hard to believe that its not in the NOC list as an occupation even though there are a lot of opportunities in Canada for this profession.
