Hi Satish,
What country passport do you currently hold? Indian I guess? It takes just a week to get a new passport issued from the indian high commision for a very nominal cost.
I would strongly say to renew your passport.

Hi Victoria,
Is it possible that even on the same day service the PEO don't make a decision . for ex. high work loads etc... Can this happen with Consultants (agents) as well?
If this happens then is it considered as a postal application and the applicant has to wait weeks although he paid £950?

Hi Dani,
Very informative Post.
Just a question - did you have further leave to remain after the 9th. If not then what fall back plan you had in mind if your ILR gets rejected for whatsoever reason or you fail to make in time for the appointment.

I think you would be fine to apply on the 15th.. It is 28 days. easiest rule to calculate is - add 3 to your arrival date if the month is 31 days or 2 if the month had 30 days -
