Thanks Rizwan,

As I mentioned, my wife has already been issued with the ID card as we had to apply for her FLR to top up another 6 weeks visa to complete 2 years on spouse visa. Anyway it would be interesting to find out if someone has been issued with an ILR recently who also had an ID Card

Hello all, We're applying for the ILR (in person) of my wife next month who's already issued with the new ID card for foreign nationals. My questions is if the in person applicants receive the ILR endorsed on their passports or ILR is endorsed on the ID card for foreign nationals? if endorsed on ID ...

We asked for 2 years further extension but they have only given a top up of 10 weeks extension despite of all the reasons explained. I think they're getting very strict now (excuses to make more money) and your husband has been lucky... :)

Thanks Vinny, I am aware that she can't apply for ILR until she passes the Life in UK test and that's why I have asked if we could apply for her visa extension beyond top-up six weeks towards her ILR eligibility so she can prepare for the test. Dont think you read my question properly ;-)

Biometric appointment (for FLR(M))- system is down?

Hi everyone, I am constantly trying to book the biometric appointment (through the number advised by UKBA) since Monday but the answer I got from them until last night is that their systems are down and they can't do anything and I should call back. In the hope that the system will be up today, I ha...

And can I also ask if someone has experience of getting extension of spouse visa, how long they got it for? I mean did they just got the top-up to cover two years or it wsas granted for slightly longer?

Many thanks,
MHS
