This may be a silly question but on the approval letter it asks for the 950 euro fee, passport photos, GNIB card and original travel document (if applicable) can someone tell me what the original travel document is? Is this a passport or what am I supposed to send?

So no need to renew once the docs are sent off? Even if it means the GNIB will expire before the certificate is received?

At what point in the process can someone NOT renew their GNIB card? If an approval letter has been received? Or say after the declaration has been made and the docs sent off? My friends GNIB will expire about 3 weeks after his court date. Does it matter anymore at that point?

The dates for all of my signatures precede the date of the new form (Jan 15th) so maybe I can still just send in the old form.....?
