Re: Urgent

Hi can we go apply for student visa while waiting for psw decision? Old leave to remain is expired. Any advice? Bye You would not have Passport to apply, so you cant. The only option would be to withdraw your application and reapply. They would send back your passport without any visa, so it would ...

Which I take to mean readily available? I think in a court of appeal that will hold up as meaning "readily available".

In your case, 6th March to 5th June is the required 3 month period. So, don't fret, you're OK with those statements.

Another ridiculous refusal by the home office. Refusals like this make me really mad. Even if your award letter just showed the year (2009), we're just in the 6th month of 2009, which is within a year. So, refusal to award you the points there is quite baseless. They are even so inept as to be reduc...

Am I right that pending the appeal I am still under the same visa conditions and thus that I am allowed to work? Thanks, Sel Yes...

Essentially, you were refused because the bank statements you submitted did not cover a full 3 month period. As such, they didn't award you the 10 points for maintenance. The statements you submitted are from 13th January to 6th April which is less than 3 months. A full 3-month period would have bee...

Hello there, The PSW visa has become a real nightmare for me. I don't satisfy all the requirements to apply from inside the country. I didn't keep £800 in my account for about 2 weeks. Now I am sure the application for the PSW visa will be rejected. However, I have decided to go home and apply fro...

Re: Made a mistake on VAF9 & APPENDIX4, and SUBMITTED!!!

I don't think there's much you can do. At worst, these are minor mistakes that will be overlooked. The good thing is that you indicated that the Bank letters are part of your supporting documents. I feel the Reference number omission is no big deal. So, try and relax. Wish you all the best with your...
