@Jambo, thanks very much for your response and apologies for my ignorance. I just happened to see the old form and Yes the question was in the old form too.

I am now going to find out what are the major differences between the forms and use whichever is easier - before 3rd Jan.

@Madam I, What was HO's reply when you ring them? What did they say? I would suggest you to ring the home office with the reference number on your acknowledgement letter and ask for the status of your application (if no reference number, you may need the Royal Mail tracking number by which you poste...

ILR SET (O)

The old application form SET(O) seems more straight forward and easy for me. I am attending PEO on 20th Dec. I am going to use the old application form as it is valid for 28 days from the day the new application came into force. In line with paragraph 34(i) of the Immigration Rules, we will continue...

NO, You cannot take your dependants on 1 person appoitnment.
There is a reason why they don't show up when searching for 3 people in total. I believe it is the time constraint i.e they may not have enough time to process a 3 people application on that particular day.

Hi Kashif,

Does your daughter hold any type of dependant visa? If yes, when does it expire and when are you applying for her citizenship?

qwerty10, I don't think the immigration officer is going to send her back. Is your name present in your wife's passport as her spouse? In addition to this she could carry a marriage certificate too.

I would apply for a redirection service with royal mail who will forward your letters to the new address. I will also write to the home office informing your new address by mentioning the passport numbers of the applicants or send them a copy of acknowledgement letter (in case they have sent you one).

Photos will definitely help with your applications. you don't need to have a proper wedding pictures. Depeding on your religious customs, you can have garlands around your neck and take few pictures with people around you. Is that possible?

Hi all,

Could anyone let me know what's this +20?

Thanks,
Vish.

thanks for your reply. I applied from Hyderabad, I shall ring them tomorrow. The application was processed on Mon the 6th of Apr. I dont understand the way VFS handles the whole process. They seem to be least bothered in communicating.

Vish.
