thanks agniukas for your reply. wld you know if interdepartmental report involves Garda check only, or is there other outside agencies that LTR section wld be checking as well? If there are many checks to be done, any idea whether the Garda check is towards the last ones they do, or one of the first...

A quick question about the Long-Term Residency process: does anybody know what are the steps that follow the Garda check in a LTR process? After they do the Garda check does it go usually for approval or there's more steps in between?

So INIS started processing 2008 applications.. Looks good.
I hope that the "financial burden on the State" part would be taken into consideration in a fairly manner when deciding of eligibility..

Hi A-I, in some of his speeches, Minister Ahern referred to Garda, Social Welfare, Revenue.. as outside agencies or parties. Hope this helps.
