Re: HELLO TO ALL CCL VICTIMS,

Hi the times have written an article on CCL and other colleges today. Unfortunately it seems CCL would have only had 130 students and so majority of the degrees were fake according to the times. Hello to ccl victims, In last 3 months i have done plenty of research on ccl cases, wat home office should...

Re: Waiting times for an appeal

Hi Ok it can take anything up to 6 weeks to get an appeal date, which is usually 4 weeks from the date you receive the letter. Once you have had the appeal, it can still take another couple of months before the visa is actually in your passport. Hi there, I was refused my PSW visa because the balanc...

Here are some avenues you can try

Hi guys, I am sorry to hear of your situation. There are other avenues to get answers from UKBA, such as your MP and even there may be organisations that advocate for a fairer immigration system. If you do a bit of research maybe you can get some better answers through these avenues. I asked my MP f...

Re: Returned App lost in post - advice needed!

Hi, When they had returned your application as invalid, was your visa still valid or had it expired? Because if they had returned it as invalid when your visa had expired because they couldnt do the payment, then you may have to do it at home. However, you could risk and send in a fresh application ...

Re: Appeal in high court

Hi, Ok this is only what I have heard verbally, but it is from a H.O official. They dont usually take into account where you have applied from, all they confirm is that you have the correct documents and filled in the form correctly. Now, your friend can risk it and send in a fresh application provi...

Hi, From my understanding of what you have said, it seems like it is the appeal judge who is challenging HO, not HO challenging your girlfriend. The decision has been made, did they challenge your girlfriends appeal within 5 days? The home office is reviewing her case in lieu of the fact that the ap...

Thanks phonix.... Well the college says that's their standard format. I have the letter which has academ...

Thats really quick, good for him!! Has anyone heard from AIT on their hearing date? They tell me mine is in a queue, its been three weeks. What could be the problem? Does the HO have to be informed before they process the appeal and give a hearing date? I am worried that they are delaying deliberate...

At least you have a date from when it will be considered. I am sure you will be fine, thanks for the info, I was worried it was taking so long to get a hearing date! I originally mailed my appeal on 7 March, but didn't hear anything back from the tribunal until Thurs 26 March, at which point they sa...

Re: appeal form sent in; no solicitor to back up?

Did you make a copy of the appeal form for your records? If you did you can fax it over to them, if you are worried it will get lost. But I dont think it will, because it is recorded for it will be easier to track. Just make sure you keep the special delivery receipt, and if you want, fax over a cop...

Thanks! have you managed to appeal as well?? I mailed my appeal off the day I received it because it was blatantly their fault. I received the letter asking for any additional statements/evidence and I sent all of that in last week. They won't make any decisions until after 23 April because I reque...

Thanks! have you managed to appeal as well?? I had/have the exact same problem. My letters were written according to UKCISA/UKBA standard saying I completed the course (grades and courses) and would graduate in December, but apparently they are unable to put two letters together and realise that tog...

Oh and yes, I did pay by card, it was an automatic payment, done when they received the application on the 26th of January. Dont worry too much, your friend will prob get the visa anytime from next week, sometimes it is faster, but thats only when they are not busy.

Hi RAJ2007, I sent in my application on the 22nd of January, I received my refusal on the 28th of February, so that actually makes it 5 weeks not 4 and a half in total from the date I sent it, and about 4 and a half weeks from the date of receipt until the passport was ready, what I did was send the...

Hi No you dont need to send in your passport with the appeal form. You should aim to send the appeal form two days before the deadline so it reaches them on the day. You can also fax it to them on the deadline, and send the original form by post to be safe. I dont think you can travel to Ireland, No...

Thank you koolbone, it is encouraging to hear that, because I still feel the same way about this whole thing, it is really unfair, and they should not get away with it. Submitting new evidence for the appeal- Mentioned in Refusal

Hi everyone, I have appealed against the decision to refuse me a PSW because I had not submitted my original certificate of award. I submitted a letter with my name, title of the course, award given, start and end dates, date of award, that the university is a recognised institution, that the certif...

In a similar situation, I did not have my certificate of award yet, I have submitted an appeal. All the best with her application, provided she can prove that her results were released and the certificate will be issued, she should be fine.
