lots of similar discussions - I believe the advise given is to not risk it. Can't really add more than that. More interesting is to hear from people in the same boat who have applied and been [un]successful but not too much of them around. Check my threads for some responses I am in the same boat as...

I raised the same question at Islington NCS when I called them to book an appointment. They seem quite clued up. Not 100% of this explanation but what they said was that the office that keeps the LIUK test result is different to the one that processes BC and hence it saves time/effort if the LIUK ce...

What's the issue? Follow NCS advice and you will be fine. You don't need to have a valid passport to apply but you need to provide proof that you lived in the UK during the time the passport expired (otherwise you can claim you didn't have a passport but actually had one and spent the last two year...

I don't want to wait out the 3 months as I am unable to travel at the moment and its affecting my employment. So willin...

Suppose that only applies to passport applications

NCS should take all supporting documents but they don't. You can request but NCS will submit only listed documents of AN form last page. Good luck. Is it possible to submit application through ncs then send the supporting documents Yourself by post a week later by referencing some reference number?

Re: Ncs asked too many docs

waiting the 12 months before BC and travel option

I have 5 or so months left before I can apply for BC. But I really want to travel to a warm destination to get away from the cold. I've already travelled 3 months.

Are there any countries I can travel to without affecting my BC eligibility (besides NI, England, Scotland, Wales )
