Depending on the case, but if it's straight forward it's just the cohab documents.

I don't think you can - because the wife has not cohabit for 2 years she can't be included in the SET(O) form.

It needs to be done in a separate FLR(M) form.

Technically, if Zimbabwe does not allow dual citizenship, the moment you become a British citizen you automatically lose your Zimbabwe citizenship, not whether you have a British passport or not. A quick Googling shows that you have 1 year to renounce your British citizenship before you lose your Zi...

This happens to me as well although I re-did the test this time ensuring that I have my name in the correct way around.

The guy in the test centre assured me that this is fine, but I thought GBP50 is nothing compared to the piece of mind that I'll get knowing that I have the right certificate.

This is not true for our case. My wife has been living for me for a while but only my dependent on my T1 for the past year. We got it approved, the requirement is: * cohabitation for 2 years * is a dependent at the time of ILR application The CW did query this since she's only my dependent for a yea...

You only count the *full* day you're away from UK. The day you leave and enter is excluded from the calculation.

Have you had your biometric done?

Search the forum, there are others who have travelled using a "temporary passport" or a "parallel passport". But some other forum members consider this as risky.

First - for HSMP/Tier 1 (G) you don't need the old approval letters. I brought mine and photocopied everything. Case worker gave me back the photocopies, indicating that they don't need those in file. Secondly - you don't need *all* 12 months of payslips. You only need as many needed for your points...

If I were you, I'd cancel Solihull and go to Croydon.

Because you're back in the country 10th Feb 2008, you don't have to explain why you weren't in country then.

Just add a unnecessary complication I think and it's only a few weeks differences.

No - I have months left on my Tier 1. I've always extended > 6 months before the visa expired due to travel planning & management. So I have 1 more extension than needed, i.e. 3 + 2.

Could you please let me know the date you first entered UK and the expiry date of your current visa T1(G).
Thanks in advance
Why does it matter?

First entry July 2006
Tier 1 (G) expires May 2013

Did CW ask any further questions ? - 3 years - 3 years - Don't know, if she did, it was done at her desk (we couldn't see her doing any of her job) - Nope, just tha...

ILR success @ Croydon 07/01/2013

Thanks to this forum our ILR application went through successfully @ Croydon on 07/01/2013. Mine was rather straight forward, I had HSMP + Tier 1 + another Tier 1 extension. Initially was contracting but have been permanent in the past couple of years so income is easy to proof. The only slight comp...

SET(O): documents to support your tier 1 points assessment

Hi,

In the last page of SET(O) form there is "listed documents" section that says:

"documents to support your tier 1 points assessment"

What else do we need? I have payslips + bank statements which is listed independently, do I need to provide more information?

Thanks

Your interpretation is slightly off. It means from the time she was last granted PBS dependent visa pre 9 jul12, she should continue to remain in PBS dependent status, and in her case the residency requirement is 2 years. The 'continuous' you refer to is for the requirement of not having changed vi...
