Do the funds have to be in YOUR account or can you declare a sponsor such as a parent and have your sponsor demonstrate HE/SHE has the funds?? NO 28 days prior bank statement is required till 30/09/09. put all your money not less than 7400 uk pounds + balance college or uni fee and keep in your account till you receive your passport. somebody pointed out about CCL bite etc but i have afriend from proper london University with a proper masters degree with some distinctions and he is still waiting for passport since OCT. And one of my colleague got it done in less than a month but he applied last month. it all depends on ur luck....

In case of delay in the processing of your application you can make enquiries to the Home Office through your local MP and you will get a specific reply. for all of you guys many many thanks for your support during the last 5 and half months passports arrived today with 3 dependants applied on 22 OCT 2008 and since then waiting visa valid from 2/4/09 to 2/4/11 wish you all the best luck and hopefully you will all get it but with more patient Congrat...
