Cog8 One Question did she reconcile the days out sheet with your passport stamps? Plz Advice. She looked at my list of times out of the UK, asked how many days I'd been out, I said '160 or so' and that was it. I'm not sure if she later checked this information on a system, but she never checked it ...

Just curious what do you think she checked during those 5 mins?
I would guess it was my time out of the UK? I don't know for sure, but maybe their systems can show this when they scan a passport?

SET O (I had 2 years of HSMP and 3 years of Tier 1 General).

I paid £495+VAT for the appointment and checking service. It was good to get an application and document check as I was denied for Tier 1 due to a missing document... which then meant I had to appeal and wait about 6 months for my passport.

Success at Solihull PEO

I had my ILR approved at a premium appointment at Solihull recently - thanks to the forum for providing me with loads of information. I arrived 30+ mins before my appointment, like they ask, but everything was done incredibly quickly. I waited 5 mins at the door, was through security in 15 seconds, ...

I didn't end up taking any photocopies to the appointment and I was never asked for any. I think they take any photocopies that they need themselves.

Photocopies for PEO?

Just a quick question for a PEO: do I need to photocopy any documents before the premium appointment? I have all the original documents, but wasn't sure if any photocopies were necessary?

Thank you for the clarification - I wanted to double check that there wasn't a rule regarding this. Cheers.

Congratulations!
Also, my earnings were lower than my last extension (same band though). The caseworker did not ask/wonder about that (as it should be according to the rules).
What do you mean by this?

So the only rule regarding your last 12 months' wages is if you need to receive a certain amount of points for the Tier 1 system?

I'm not trying to create any panic. I've simply been told this and I'm trying to find out if there's any substance to it.

Salary/wage compared to your last extension

Has anyone heard about a rule that says your last 12 months' earnings have to be more than when you applied for your last extension? i.e. your last year of payslips (not your current salary) equal to £30k, but at your Tier 1 extension you were earning £35k; therefore you're not allowed to get ILR. I...

Hi, do you know when should phone them to book a PEO appointment? How long in advance, 3 months? Many thanks From my experience, you need to book via the website. Do it at midnight as during the day it will almost always say there's no appointments. Do it approximately 42 days before you want the a...

Have you tried calling the centres that do the Life in the UK tests? They might be able to squeeze you in earlier.

September seems like a long wait for the test... I thought it was usually 1 week in advance?

I can't find that noted anywhere? Do you have a link?

I can only see that you need to score 75 points on table 2 here: with the criteria of qualification, earnings, UK experience and age.

Do you need to prove maintenance (funds) when applying for ILR? Or is it just your education, age and salary?

When I finally got the website to load last night it gave me about 5-6 options: I think it was 08:00, 08:10, 08:20, 08:50, 09:20, 09:30.

All available were for Croydon, but I can't remember if I had only selected Croydon or 3 different locations.

It amazes me that they wouldn't allow for more premium services. They're charging £1377 on a service that used to be free in 2003.

Surely it doesn't take any more time or labour than a standard application.

That happened to me last night for the first few midnights past midnight... it then started working about 12:05.

I'm not sure if it just can't cope with the traffic or it goes down whilst it updates the new appointments.

September 26. I thought I had a good amount of time, but now it's feeling like a very tight schedule!
