Re: Naturalization - Tips from my appointment

In my case then, the NCS said, they will keep the application pack with them for 10 days and post it out later and if I wanted to post on day of application, they warned that we might get a refusal and no fee (£2,010) would be refunded. If application day is same a NCS appointment, then I was in UK ...

Do you know anyone who is a contractor working via his/her own limited company company? They can be your referee as a Director of a Limited Company/VAT registered company.

Naturalization - Tips from my appointment

Good Evening All, Please see below for some useful points from my NCS appointment couple of days back: 1. Please ensure you were physically present in UK 5 years before the day you apply (for NCS the day after as that's when HO receives your application). For example, if you are applying on 21st Jan...

Re: Naturalisation - Photocopies Required?

Nope I am not an American Citizen. We will take both our English Language Proofs with us. Yes, my spouse also came with me on Tier 1 General 6 years ago, so she has the same timelines, 5 years T1 and 1 year ILR.

Re: Naturalisation - Photocopies Required?

Thank you very much for the prompt response and reminding me the fee payment sheet. About the English requirement, form AN states that if you have passed the LIUK test after 28th October 2013, you don't need the English language proof separately. Anyways, I have the PBS print outs from my ILR showin...

Practice all 48 tests from "http://www.theuktest.com/life-in-the-uk-test/1". Boosts your chances to pass in first attempt, at least 18-20 questions come from these practice tests (It was the case for me, my partner and couple of my friends who passed in 1st attempt). Having said that, I st...

Yes, you still have to fill in Section 2 of the form MN1.

2.2 All addresses the child has ever lived at
2.3 Absence days from UK if any (else leave blank)
2.4 United Kingdom (assuming your child is going to stay in UK post registration)

Re: BRP delivery

Anyone of you or your dependent can receive the parcel. Also, if you are not going to be around at weekdays and the depot is too far, you can use their weekend redelivery service costing approx £6 per parcel (you have to pay twice for 2 BRP cards)

Cheers,
Bob

Bob

I got my visa extended last week and I agree to the above post, the approval letter does not state the visa expiry date. But if you are too curious, you dont need to wait for the BRP to arrive. When the case worker calls you to give your approval letter and original docs back, you can ask him/her an...

Hi Mate, I just got my Tier 1 General Visa extended last week. I had a similar situation as yours. My visa is expiring in Feb 2013, applied for extension in Jan 2013. For salary, used 10 months (not even 12 as 10 was getting me more than enough points, 40 to be precise) in the last 15 months before ...
