hi,

Does anyone know how long the employment history letter from HMRC takes to arrive ?

I hope it is less than 3 weeks as I have an appo in 3 weeks and I have requested only today for this year....

I had to travel for few weeks in europe in 2008, I got a letter from my employers confirming that I was needed on project and hence needed to travel, i also got them to add that during the whole period paid I was still company employee, paid as normal and all my expenses were paid for by them.

Linkers buddy, it does clarify the doubts, I will claim for the single 12 month period, although technically I will be claiming only 11 months out of them 12 months.

This single consecutive 12 month period sounds bit awkward to me, as in if I split it in two May-June and then August to April'12, it technically is not a single consecutive period..Let me know what you think
