My application was received on 16 March and still waiting for payment. When called them then informed that due to unprecedent volume of applications, there is delay in processing payments. I have observed that candidates receive their biometric invitation letter in 5-7 weeks after submission of application. Just wondering what UKBA do with our application during that time...? Mine was the same as yours, around 0.947 kgs. I bought the padded envelopes from Staples. they sell for about £7.99 for a pack of 10. They seem strong enought. I dont think having an overdraft will affect your application as far as you have suffient funds in a different account for maintenance. Make sure you mention in a cover letter that they should consider the other account for your maintenance funds. No where in the guidance it talks about overdrafts. ...
