Totally Agree, As the website says that it takes average 23 months to process, its not wise who applied in 2nd half of 2007 calling and blocking the phone lines every tue and thu. this is not to offend anyone. but there are people who applied in 2005, 2006 and early 2007 waiting to hear from the dep...

I was told that, Atleast couple of months before i hear from them...

Hi Guys, My update. I rang INIS they said my application is ready to be submit to the Minister for a decision. They said I should get the minister’s decision in 6 to 8 weeks. Timeline summary: Applied in june 06, sent addtional documents in oct 08. Thanks, Hope4Best. Thanks for today updates guys...

Re: Gardai clearance - where is it??

Congrats astra. Re. What's invoked in Garda check... A gard told before they enter name in syst and get results! I'd like to think there is more into it unless the centralised bureau only dedicates a few hrs a week for this.... + admin overhead ... + send to inis + you know from here... Huge backlo...

Thanks AI. But when i called few weeks ago, i was told that they are only waiting for Garda Clearance.
once they receive the clearance, the file will be forwarded to the minister decision. I am not sure whether they are giving correct information at all.
