Re: ILR Croydon Success - self employed and director of Ltd

Hi ADK, Congrats on the success of your ILR. I am due my ILR in the month of April 2014. Have a few questions and would request your expert advise on that. Q: My accountant is a Chartered Accountant. Is he allowed to sign and stamp my payslips, dividend vouchers and letters. Initial Tier 1: 29/04/20...

Hi Kais, Thanks for your reply and the quote from the ukba website. I also read that initially, but wanted to be sure so called up the Croydon customer service just now who said that the obviously Life in the UK test is a mandatory requirement. With respect to the other English requirement, it is st...

English requirement for ILR since October 2013

Dear All, I would like to know the English requirement rules for the settlement. I found out from the ukba site that everyone needs to pass two tests from October 2013: 1) Life in the UK test. 2) ESOL test. I passed IELTS test for my Tier 1 (which expired within two years of taking the test). I also...

Hi John, After marriage, both of us have worked only in the UK as UK employees. I have never worked anywhere other than in India (before marriage) and in UK (after marriage). He worked in India (before marriage) and has travelled to different countries on and off (on business purposes, say, to Austr...

Tier1 application - Child Benefit Issue

Thanks again nksg,

Your reply on separation with real example gives me a bit more confidence.

I will say YES for granting visa for the UK for my son.

VAF9 and VAF10 are the correct forms to fill from India in my situation. Right?

Thanks,
Saanvi

Tier1 application - Child Benefit Issue

Hi nksg, Thanks for the reply. I will execute the third option. Claim of child benefit is not something i did knowingly as i had mentioned and i hadn't hidden anything from the HM Revenue and customs. Coming to the point that i was staying in the UK even when i was separated. I am worried as this co...
