HI, It depends whether they said its for further enquiries or just because of backlog. But never the less if its birmingham office than i am quite certain it might be due to back log of recent snow again..... anyways i think you should not worry to much .... you will get yours back with the visa pre...

I arrived 13 jan.... got through security my number called within 15 mins of appointment time... went to desk the lady enterd info in the computer. check bank statment and payslips... and than asked for degree... i told her it wasn't required as is ...

Exactly right VC thats what i think as well... that home office could clearly say JR.... but they have been ambiguous always... even when they changed the rule for Tier1.... They mentioned it won't effect Tire 1 applicants in country... but never mentioned HSMP..... but at they end they said this go...

I think if you can apply for ILR before June 2011 than you are pretty much safe anyways you dont need to worry...
