Sorry I don't have good legal advice here, but more of a personal experience one. If you don't push them, they will process the visa as a normal Join Spouse visa and it will take ages. Folks,

I was told on 19/05 that my file was being prepared to be sent to the minister. Then on the 16/06 INIS informed me that file was sent to the Minister the previous week. 07/07 - waiting for minister's approval.

How long does this process take pls?
