Yes. As long as the total sum on your payslip(April+May) matches to the amount bank statement. Have you got letter from your employer as well? As cash u received is pure cash with no tax deduction. And ur in UK u know the rules.

The amount received by me as cash is considered in gross salary so it has been considered for tax calculation.
