I don't know A_I. I rang them only once and they said at that time that your application is still in process.

So i am not sure how long does it takes when it goes to minister.

I got my certificate yesterday by registered post. It took more then 6 weeks ( or 35 working days)

The reason I recommend not changing your address is My friend changed his address when his application was still in process but he got his approval letter at his old address. otherwise I don't see any problem with it. You will always be worried till the time you don't get your naturalisation certifi...

not recommended

I would highly recommend you not to change your address. Is it not possible for you to ask somebody living there to keep your letter and let you know when you your cert.

Another option would be to try anpost forwarding service for 3 months ( it normally takes 2 months to get your cert) .

hi dublin1 I would say that that it takes 6 or more weeks to get cert (it takes 30 working days according to INIS). Once cert is issued your passport will be issued to you in 10 days if you use anpost passport express service. More information on it below. http://www.anpost.ie/AnPost/MainContent/Per...

Hi there

Is there anybody who applied in last week of Feb or after for certificate of naturalisation and got it yet.

It seems a long time to issue certificate :( ? Does anybody rang them to ask progress for the certificate of naturalisation ?
