I am also a victim of 21st May. Still no call or document as yet. Looks like we are only few who are still hanging. Almost everyone got their documents. But, that's a good thing because this means we will also get our decision in few days. I think the average waiting time (after reading comments in ...

@ shishir30 - you are lucky to get call after a week. I have also applied on 21st May and didn't get any call yet.

You should have had documents by now. As it is mentioned in few other posts that they use Special Devlivery. Perhaps you will get that by tomorrow.

Congratulations anyway. :)

I agree with rajesh9pl. We should do something and unless we stand up for ourselves, Home Office wouldn't realize this. A simple sorry from case worker doesn't compensate £800+ extra. And one whole day of misery espesially when someone like me travelling with two infants. This is simply a scam of ge...

ILR - PEO @ Croydon - 21 May 2012- Biometric Delays

Hi All, I went to Croydon today for ILR at 13:45 and everything went smoothly. After I went through Biometric enrollment, they announced that they are not getting their results for Biometrics and eventually they asked everyone to submit their docs at 16:45. They promised that it wouldn't take long f...

Online appointment booking

Hi All, I have been struggling with online appointment booking for ILR at Croydon. However, whenever I specify that I want to book appointment with dependant; it doesn't show me any available dates. But, when I change that to NO dependant; then it shows me available bookings there. Any suggestions, ...

Passport Validity & ILR

Hi I am going to apply for ILR in May. My current passport will expire in Feb 2014. That means I will have valid visa on my current passport but my passport will expire in Feb 2014. So, I would need a new passport. That is not a problem, right??? Because, in Feb 2014; I will have valid visa on one p...

PEO - Biometric residence permit for dependants

Hi I am planning to apply for ILR at PEO. I would also include my two dependants in this application. However, I was planning to attend PEO by myself. There are few posts in this forum where people attended PEO without dependants and got succesful. However, I am not sure what to do with biometric pe...

Section 9 - Age

Hi,

I have a question related to Form (o) for ILR. I enter UK under HSMP in 2007 when I was 26. I got extension as Tier1-General in 2009 and my age was 28.

Can anyone please confirm what should I specify in this form?
Under 28
OR
28-29?

Thanks,
Salman.

Hi Frank, I forgot to update you. I had recieved my passport in last week of January. So, that actually takes around 6 weeks more or less. Howevere, I also sent two reminder letters to that Leads office. I am not sure but I think those reminder letters also made an impact. Best of luck with your case!

If the case is rejected for both of you (main applicant & dependant) then I THINK anyone of you could attend.

Hi Frank, You should write a letter to HO and remind them about the letter. I waited for 2 months and didn't receive any letter. Then I sent them a reminder letter on the following address and got their response letter in 2 days. They asked for passport. I have sent them the passport and now waiting...

Thanks Chetanojha. The home office must have been mistaken with this objection because she has no convictions whatsoever. She doesn't even has a diriving license. It seems like identity mismatch. Hi All, My wife's Tier1 Dependant was rejected due to stupid reason that she didn't disclose her criminal convictions. We are applying for an appeal against the decision.
