I believe you should be fine. I also entered UK after 2 weeks of visa stamp date and will be applying for ILR just 28 before expiry date in February 2013.

@Caspian77 Since you entered UK within 90 days of your visa stamp date, I believe as per new guidance you can apply 28 days before the expiry of your visa i.e. 01 March 2013. Your ILR date will be calculated from visa stamp date. If you applying in person just 1 day before visa expiry date you may b...

You should be fine to take your child to India without UK visa.

Keep in mind your kid will require Entry Clearance for coming back to UK.

Thanks for your prompt reply.

One more question: did you sign and stamped payslips and dividend vouchers yourself or get it signed and stamped from accountant?

My understanding is I only need to certify salary slips and dividend vouchers.

Thanks in advance.

You can buy property in UK without any restrictions.

The one downside of buying it while on Tier 1 is you may not get much deals because some banks only provide mortgage to person with permanent residency.

I think you should be fine. In UK people have their individual preferences.

As long as your full name matches with your travel documents you should be good.

Possibly you may be already aware dependents have less stringent rules then Main applicant. Your wife need to have spend 2 years so I think you should be fine for ILR.

One advantage for UK born childs are they will become eligible for UK passport at your ILR time.
