A part of my response is to changes they are making for everyone on HSMP. IF you cant get it then doesn'[t mean everyone is a thick headed moron like you. Read will notbackHSMP response above, atleast there is someone who reads between the lines, if you understand what i mean. Probably won't. You'r...

Well to be honest i am no great fan of HO but i think in this case we have to give them a benefit of the doubt they HAVE mentioned in their website abou this on 23rd April 2006. http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitecontent/newsarticles/indefiniteleavetoremainforhsmp1 So I dont understand who is re...

Yes I'd also been thinking of your point 3. It makes a lot of sense to have a team of people at the HO dedicated just to us, especially since they have to judge us on different "old" criteria. Might mean we get a faster result too. Fingers crossed.

Just when you think that the Home Office can't sink any lower, or be any more illogical - they manage to surprise you. This is disgusting, infuriating, banana-republic behaviour.

To be honest I can see his point - though in some ways we have simpler criteria, we are also different from the run of the mill - we need to be assessed against different (old) criteria, possibly pay different fees, and have all had different experiences (eg someone who is 1+3+3 vs someone who is 1+...

Yes I mentioned the judgment - and the person I spoke to was aware of it. However he said that until the Home Office issued new guidance, the 5 year rule was still in play and he couldn't take appointments any earlier. It was clear he didn't have any authority to do anything else, so I didn't bother...

I spent about an hour on the phone yesterday, so can now confirm - they are not taking appointments on the basis of 4 years. They are still saying you have to complete 5 years before they will give you an appointment. Oh well!!

PEO appointments - after 4 years for HSMP ILR applicants?

Prior to winning the judicial review, the PEOs would only let you have an appointment if you have been here 5 years. Now that the JR has been won, has anyone had any luck at getting an appointment after 4 years - or are the call centre staff not informed enough to know - are they still saying you ca...
