My wife phoned Gerry's today but they said they do not know anything about it, as soon it comes back the status would change.

Its been 26 working days now...I dnt know how long it is going to take

I attached 6-8 photographs; they were not from my wedding but of me and my wife together.

We still haven't heard anything back yet :fingers crossed:

For accommodation, I attached a letter and a copy of passport from the person who has agreed to provide me accommodation.

btw, ppl at Islamabad VAC refused to take my wifes application without our pictures and calling cards. They said we need 5-6 pictures of you too together and couple of calling cards...and without that we would not take your application. I dnt know if u had a similar situation or no

Thanks for your reply Yes this was in Pakistan, Gerrys centre Islamabad. I cant understand why they wont accept your application form. Maybe they are doing you a favour as without these cards or itemized billing your application has a good chance of not succeeding and therefore you will have wasted ...

I do not understand why they refused to take my wife's application without calling cards :?

They never asked for mobile phone bills, land line bills etc; they just asked for 3-4 calling cards.

So you are saying that they can not track where a particular calling card has been used.

I am currently on Points Based Post Study Work Permit, I am applying for my Wife's visa. I need a letter from my workplace; can somebody please explain what should go in the letter and what type of questions they might ask my employer if they phone up?

Just not 100% on maintenance funds

if I have 2000 pounds in my bank account for 3 months, would this be enough for the visa?

Post Study Visa

Hello there, I applied for Post study work permit visa on 4th march 2009, its been long but still I havn't heard anything from them.

The status on the website since last wednesday says
"Application forwarded to Islamabad OC on"

Any suggestions/help
