Re: IHS Refund Delay

Spoke to UKVI contact centre earlier today. They said since you raised the escalation on 2 Sep, you would have to wait another 6 weeks before refund is processed. Apparently, the escalation is now sitting with the refund team.

They have asked me to call back if I dont get a refund by mid October.

Re: Using previous IHS number

The application form does not give you any option to enter any IHS numbers. It would automatically take you to the IHS payment page.

I recently got my visa updated, and had to pay IHS again. Because of double payment, you should be eligible for a refund.

did you apply prioirtuy or standard and which city did you apply from in london or outside?
I applied on standard service and used the online app to verify the ID, so I never had to go to the UKVAC.

Got reply in exact 8 weeks.

Re: IHS Refund - NHS Staff

If you are in skilled worker - Health care visa then you would have not paid IHS fee at first place. Have you paid IHS fee as part of your application? If yes is it by mistake or you were told to pay since your role is not eligible for IHS exemption. Usually NHS visa cell informs as a part of CoS i...

Thank you for prompt reply.

I just noticed this on the email that was received yesterday

Same goes to me.
biometric was 23 May (standard)
I emailed UKVI for application status thrice, they replied me “ visa is awaiting a decision” every single time.

So frustrating with the waiting times :x
Hi

Can you please confirm the email address you used to contact UKVI?

Thanks

Re: Skilled Worker Visa Employer Switch - Dependents visa query

The dependents do not have the main applicant's CoS mentioned on their BRPs. I checked this some time ago and was told that the dependents can apply at the same time as the main applicant, or anytime before the expiry of their current visas. It says exactly the same thing on the UKVI website
