My sister submitted a B1 certificate for her ILR and her application was granted. She has submitted the same certificate for her naturalisation application and has received the below: It is noted that you have provided a Trinity certificate dated 10 April 2017 as evidence that you have met the KOLL ...
I received CONCLUDED and got the visa. That analogy is factually inaccurate. I do not think it is correct. Based on what I have seen on this thread it is statistically correct. I am a sceptic of these things. Having seen 100% of people with "issue" email being granted visa, and about 99% ...
Hi...........Today i have received email with CONCLUDED word..................... Any 1 here who have received CONCLUDED email and got/ granted UK visa.........share your opinion. I have been a silent monitor of this forum for a while now and I have been following this particular topic regarding ISSUED = VISA, CONCLUDED = REFUSED. I can emphatically state that this conclusion is false. I received a "concluded" email regarding my mother's visa application a few days...

After submitting and paying for my mother's visit visa application form online, it then dawned on me that the guidelines state that one should not submit an application more than 3 months before the date of travel. Mine is about 3 weeks early. I have not booked the date for the biometrics yet. If I ...

Aaargh. I received my approval on 17/01/18 but the earliest date available at my council is 04/04/18. I've already booked my ceremony for that date albeit the impatience of having to wait for 2 months! Why is everything so suspense-filled in this journey? It's as if the HO is carrying out a large s...

Do you still have to undergo the Biometric process during the citizenship process if you previously did it whilst applying for a different application for leave to remain?
Hi All, 10 years has elapsed since I was refused a student visa based on the fact that I had used a false bank statement. (application was made outside the UK). I was naive enough to trust a respectable family member who duped me with a false document. I have ILR at the moment and hope to apply for ...
Posted on behalf of a friend: I came to England in 2003 on a student visa. In 2007/8 I switched to the International Graduate Scheme. I applied again in 2009 but was denied. During the appeal period I got married to my boyfriend who is a EU national and therefore switched to 5 years stay as a relati...
I am married to a BC. We got married in April 2009. I have lived in the UK for 6.5 years all of which was legal. I got my ILR in February 2012. There was a period in 2009 when I would say I was technically illegal as I had exhausted my appeal process regarding post study work visa. My spouse visa ap...
I received my ILR (SET M) in February 2012. My wife and I are now separated (not legally). She has since expressed her intentions to commence divorce proceedings although no concrete actions have yet been taken. We have a child together. My question is: can I still apply for citizenship since we are...
This might sound like a silly question but I would very much appreciate your help.
If your ILR was obtained via SET (M) and you get divorced, can you still apply for citizenship?

Not really. I believe my sister is only relying on hearsay. However, are you able to tell me about the discretionary leave to remain process? That is, the route to ILR? Thanks
To all those still waiting, while this may not make you feel any better, I believe SET M applications sent through the Settlement Checking Service are relatively quicker to process. Remember, the emphasis is on "relatively" because although I sent mine via this medium and was assured both...
I am asking this question on behalf of my sister. Is it possible for one to gain indefinite leave to remain after 3 years discretionary leave to remain? I understand it is extended for another 3 years before you are eligible for ILR but under some circumstances you could be given ILR straightaway if...

I have a very strong suspicion that they are deliberately delaying the applications in order to mass migrate all ILR applicants onto the identity card system as a bird told me me it'll be rolled in starting April 2012. Just a thought
