ILR for dependents

Is it possible that the Tier-1 General dependent(s) gets ILR based on the 5 years stay, while the main applicant is only maintaining "leave to remain" status through the required extension (2nd or 3rd time) due to an overseas job situation ?

Re: Appointment In-person Application at PEO : Tier-1 extens

My advice is to take your appointment on the day you booked it as it falls within the period of existing leave... just hope for the best there are no unforeseen circumstances that prevent you from attending. Thanks ajf773 for your advice. The date of appointment is just a day before the expiry of c...

Hi folks, It is understood from New Rules 2010 that, upon completion of initial 3-year visa, the normal extension period for HSMP Tier-1 (General) visa would be 2 years. For a case of initial landing after 6 months (after initial entry clearance), the extension of 2 years would not be sufficient to ...

Normal extension period for HSMP Tier-1 (General) visa

Hi folks,

Upon completion of initial 3-year term, what's the normal extension period for HSMP Tier-1 (General) visa ?

While browsing through various posts, the period was noted to be 2 or 3 years.

Is there a fixed or typical extension term of 2 or 3 years ?

Cheers,
