Thanks, I too am hoping that I call pull this one off without need of solicitor... Since for that month, I can show that I did not claim any benefits, paid my bills etc as usual, and was frantically searching for jobs... Hi, I had a break in employment in March 2008 for the month of March 2008 only. I was on HSMP at that time. In May 2009 I switched to Tier-1, and am now eligible for ILR in Dec 2010. Just to add - on their online booking website, it seems you can find appointment relatively easily between - 0 to 5 weeks, however the 8th - weeks appointments are always Not available
