My acknowledgement of application letter from the Home Office was dated 27/03/09 - does anyone know what the next form of communication is? My arrived 6 weeks and 1 day after they posted out the confirmation letter.

I have leave to remain until the end of April 2012!

I think you should be fine. Even there are universities in India which merged or name of the university changed e.g. Bombay University is renamed as Mumbai University. Home Office recognise degree from both the university. thanks, I hope you are right. HO receieved my application on the 19th..........

Can you find your Degree in PBS calculator? If yes, you should be fine. If not, I would have applied with NARIC letter of compability as NARIC should have maintained database of old universities(mergers,name change etc). Don't worry buddy, if you have got all your documents in order for Tier 1 then there is no reason for HO to reject your application. As long as you adhere with the rules laid out for the work permit and abide by all the immigration laws then there is no need to panic. Do you forsee any complication...

If you have played by the books, you should be fine. Following guidance is the key in applying for Tier 1 or any other visa in UK. Its is either BLACK or WHITE. Their is no GREY.
