Sorry to hear this. I think if both of you have enough money it will be better to move out of Ireland and get married then he should apply for eu family permit and come back to Ireland. It could take time but it is one of the best option here.
Best of luck!

He need to apply for D-visa. But of course any type of visa is ok. You can go to India during his first time of the application. You dont need to live with him in India. I think the embassy will require your passport. However, you need to exercise some patient too. It is not always easy for people f...

In my opinion, if they ask to take your fingerprint. It will be better to do just that provided you know you wont involve yourself in any crime.
I know in some other countries if you are ask to get a police clearance they will take your fingerprint for that. So I dont see it as a problem.

Are there no better place to report a case like this? Or if you thinking Doj is treating you bad.
I can understand when you ask your solicitor to write on your behalf. they will still treat his or her letter the same way.

I think they delay in reply of letters and emails because their office is not open to public. So you can really do little or nothing. You just have to wait for their indefinite reply to your message.
It is quite annoying and sounds so bad for a western country to be doing this way.

It is not the woman's fault, it is the solicitor's fault. Why not advice the woman to go back to her country. I am sure the woman dont really know much about the law. It is the advices that her lawyer is giving her.
