Looking at the passport thread, 1664, Vipul and myself are more or less in the same times lines :-) that's not waht i wanted to write - duh! Saw someone had proactively called IPS to obtain the ref number and booked the interview than waiting for the letter to arrive... 1664/vipul - have you guys do...

Hi Guys Just been on the phone to HO and got some important information thanks to the lovely lady in UKBA call centre.. The way it works is... after HO receives application they DATE and STAMP it . After payment is processed they create a Payment File.... Once payment is taken they start working on...

mrs just applied for her naturalisation via NCS today, how can we find out the date docs reach HO? looking at the current timin, now expecting the money to be taken off for the next 3-4 weeks, so just want to make sure at least the docs reached HO on time... did you get any royal mail tracking numb...

I called just now and have been told that duplicate has been sent on 2nd August. HO is really annoying. Last time I called they said it was sent on 27th July. Can't trust them at all I guess. Will hopefully receive it next week you know how our friends in the HO are - they have no idea what they ar...

Well in April / May I noticed people getting their cards or accounts debited/charged within days of the application submission. Right now it took UKBA more than 3 weeks to do the charge for an application submitted in mid July - so clearly a very big slowdown in the entire process. If it takes them...
