For all six EU1 applications I have submitted to the DoJ on behalf of my family members, I have submitted not once a PRTB letter. Totally unnecessary. The DoJ is entitled to require proof of residence in the State. How this is proved, is up to the applicant. Gas bill, electricity bill, phone bill, ...

This is complete madness. If your wife is the tenant, then PRTB in her name should suffice. Your right is derived from your wife's. Just get the landlord to right a letter on your behalf confirming you are staying in the same household and you are lawfully resided there. Draw the department's atten...

From the perspective of European law, it does not matter how much your wife is being paid. Not at all. She can also be working only part time. All that matters is t...

I would send in the EU1 application with a photocopy of the Eu and the non-EU passport. Include a note that says that you need the passport for travel and will submit it when the 4EUFam stamp is ready to issue or you will not need it for further travel. See what happens. Hi there, Indeed it's clearer now. Since chances are that you won't get your passport back within the 10 days of your stay, better you postpone your EU1 application until July. With what visa you plan to visit Ireland??? Sorry but I am not good with acronyms. What EUTR refers to? I hope you know that Ireland is not part of Schengen and hence you will need an Irish visa to come here. Also make sure it's multiple entry, since you plan to go back and forth. In general, EU1 a...

Hello there, From my experience you cannot register with garda unless you have first applied for EU1. And to apply for EU1 you need to send by post your original passports and wedding certificate (among other things). They usually return them back to you within a couple of weeks but since you are g...
