No, not quite. NCS guys told is not proof enough. You still need to provide sufficient evidence.

Thanks guys. Just as I thought it would complicate the process. My wife didn't work during that absence period so she can't provide any payslip or anything. Not sure what else I can use to prove her residency. The last resort, as they mentioned, is doctors letters. Looks like it's better to wait for...
