I think there are probably many factors in why some applications are processed faster than others (i.e. whether or not there are dependents, switching or extending, salaries, etc.). This is very stressful (I'm at risk of missing my sister's wedding in a couple of weeks) but have found this forum to ...

So you have to use a solicitor to do the priority postal service? I was surprised to see anything about this today and it seems that a lot of us on here have never heard anything about it. My life at the moment would be a whole lot less stressful if I'd used it though...
