All settlement visas are processed in Islamabad, the rest like student, visitor etc are processed in Abu Dhabi. I was informed by the Immigration Advisory Service about this.

hi, as far as i know it could be good news or bad.....its 50/50, could go either way...you wont know until you've collected the passport...and your wife has to go in person with her id card...and yes you get your docs back....let us know the decision and how long it took.

I totally agree with batley khan, this case is exceptional this is why he got SPECIAL TREATMENT. I think its totally unfair actually, I'm gonna write a complaint to the BHC in islamabad, and tell them how unfair that is...its not as if this guys life was at risk at gerrys.
