Cheers Desperado! :D

And yeah - if you need to apply for a PIO card, you can apply from the UK.

Link is here: http://www.hcilondon.net/visa/pio-card.html#app

Hope this helps. :)

Cheers Desperado, My current passport has the city name correctly spelled. The mistake is only in the invitation letter and the naturalisation certificate (registration office told me that). The mistake is that the HO has skipped one letter of alphabet from the city name :-( So i take it that once I...

Cheers Desperado :-) I can't wait to enjoy mine :-) Couple of questions: 1. Is there any formal dress-code for the ceremony? What would you suggest, considering the dress-code of the whole lot that came there? 2. How long does the ceremony go on for? So I can plan my day-off next week accordingly. T...

Wow! Looks like the fees increase "programme" has now become an "every quarter" thing. Good for the Govt. :-) The last one was on the 1st April 2005. Probably the next one is due in October 2005! :-) Frankly, I personally don't mind the fee increases at all - as long as their ser...

Hi All,

Has anybody taken the citizenship ceremony in Manchester? Any info as to their frequency of ceremonies in a month, etc. will help.

I will call them up on Monday, but just was curious if somebody already had used Manchester for the ceremony.

I am absolutely excited!!!! :-)

Also as an update - I received a acknowledgement letter on 7th May Saturday, saying they acknowledge my application form (1), passport (1), supporting documents (3), ILR letter (1) and fees of £268. This letter was dated 4th May. Today I have recd. anoth...
